Villa e Collezione Panza
Villa e Collezione Panza
The brief was to design a brand identity for a FAI-owned cultural heritage site. Villa Panza is an 18th century villa housing a vast collection of modern art, including works by Dan Flavin, Robert Irwin, and James Turrell.
The villa is an environment of contrasts and plays of light, which were the inspiration for the logo and visual identity. The logo consists of two planes that intersect in an impossible figure, while the rest of the identity is structured on 5 colours that form a gradient-light projected onto the white space of the sheet.
Synestesia between sound and colour is an integral part of the villa. We decided to incorporate in the claim, which invites the visitor to discover ‘the sound of colour’.
The items designed for the merch shop also present the key elements of colors, abstract shapes, and white space. The tote bags are double face and revertible, having a color gradient on one side and the color code on the other.
